Most important European Sensor Conference in Dresden
The current world market for sensor technology is estimated to about 80 bn EUR. Further miniaturisation and new applications will keep this market growing for the next years. The conference EUROSENSORS XXII deals with current trends of this market. Selected topics are: theory, modelling and design, materials, micro- and nanofabrication for sensors and actuators, sensor/actuator systems, micro fluidic & micro analysis devices and systems, MEMS, interface and system issues and innovative sensor applications. Chemical and biological sensors and their applications are especially focussed on the conference. Other topics as there are energy harvesting, sensor networks, packaging and assembly are presented and discussed additionally. Conference chair is Prof. Gerald Gerlach, Institute for Solid State Electronics of the Technical University of Dresden: "All experts in the field of sensor technology are welcome to visit Dresden – an important region of sensor- and microtechnology in Europe." EUROSENSORS XXII will be organised by the Technical University of Dresden and by the VDI/VDE Society for Measurement and Automatic Control (GMA). With 13.000 personal members GMA represents the technical community in the field of sensor and measurement technology in Germany. |
